• Was a German still life painter.
• Born in Cologne city.
• Daniel Soreau was probably his teacher
• He was active from 1613–⁠1631 working in Frankfurt am Main and in Cologne, also in Hanau.
• Married Sarah Soreau (daughter of Simon, the brother of Daniel Soreau), February 1627.
• Deceased in Hanau (Germany).
