Giuseppe del Moro (c. 1719 – 1781)

• Was an Italian painter.
• Son of quadraturist Lorenzo del Moro and Alessandra Loi.
• He trained with his father in the decoration of architectural backgrounds, and then began an individual career in 1741.
• He was a creator of theatrical sets and ephemeral apparatuses.
• He worked on the collegiate church of Empoli, the church of San Michele in San Salvi, the villa of Poggio Imperiale (on several occasions between 1769 and 1778).
• Pietro Leopoldo entrusted him with the interior decoration of the Casino della Livia, intended for his favorite Livia Raimondi.
