Francesco Granacci (Francesco di Andrea di Marco), (1469-1543),

was an Italian painter of the Renaissance movement.
Granacci was born in 1469 in Villamagna, and was trained in Florence in the studio of Domenico Ghirlandaio. He was subsequently employed painting frescoes for San Marco, on commission of Lorenzo de'Medici. He is featured in Giorgio Vasari's Vite. Granacci died in 1543 and is buried in the church of Sant'Ambrogio in Florence.
