• He was multi-faceted artist: portrait painter, animal painter, and made expensive cabinet pictures.
• For a smaller image: Frederik V. on horse riding through a triumphal arch he received 200 Danish rigsdaler.
• For a tiger in body size and for 3 small yellow horses 618 Danish rigsdaler.
• Most of his pictures were small and on copper, such as "The Royal Family", cabinet piece (1743).
• His death, in mid-1748 was in Copenhagen.
• His wife, Eva Louise, survived him.
