Hans Süss von Kulmbach, ca.(1480–1522)

• Was a german painter.
• Kulmbach joined Dürer’s Nuremberg studio in 1507.
• After Dürer retired from painting altarpieces in 1510 Kulmbach took over most of his commissions.
• His best works were stained-glass windows in churches, such as the Maximilian stained-glass, Margrave stained-glass at St. Sebald in Nuremberg.
• The displayed painting is a crop from: Girl Making a Garland, ca. 1508.
