Anónimo cuzqueño, active for three centuries (XVI, XVII and XVIII)
• Were Peruvian painters active during XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries.
• Various authors some known and other anonymous who worked in workshops jointly under the direction of a recognized teacher.
• Cuzco painting is characterized by the use of exclusively religious themes, and the predominance of red, yellow and earth colors.
• They are also notable for their abundant use of gold leaf.
• The designation "Cuzcoña", is not limited to the city of Cuzco or indigenous artists, as Creoles also participated in the tradition.
• During the sixteenth century and the beginning of the seventeenth century Cusco painting was influenced by Italian and Flemish painters.
