Franz Lippold (1688–1768)

• Was a Geman painter, miniaturist painter, court painter.
• He was born in Hamburg.
• Lippold was a student of Balthasar Denner in Hamburg.

• He settled in Frankfurt, where he had civil rights since 1723.

• Among other things, he painted emperors Charles VII ., Empress Maria Theresa and emperor Franz I . 

• Pictures of him can be found in the following museums: Augsburg, Bamberg, Bruchsal Castle, Darmstadt, Frankfurt (city library), Koblenz, Würzburg residence as well as privately owned. 

• Place of death Frankfurt am Main (city).
