Henri Lérambert, ca. (1550–1609)
• Was a French painter of the Renaissance.
• His father Louis Lerambert was a sculptor and master mason.
• His brothers Louis I Lerambert and Pierre Lerambert were sculptors.
• The first traces of Henri Lerambert's activity appear on the site of the Château de Fontainebleau, where he is documented as early as 1568-1570.
• He was received "master painter" between 1573 and 1576.
• He moved to Paris in 1586, married in 1588.
• Appointed ordinary painter of the King in 1591, then "painter of the king's tapestries" in 1600, he is directly linked to the revival of Parisian tape.
• He died in September 1608.
