Pieter van Mase (c. 1650-after 1703)

• Was a Dutch painter.
• Active in Rotterdam.

• In addition to these bird scenes, he also painted Dutch summer or winter landscapes and beach scenes, Italianate port and market scenes, views of the Rhine and still lifes of fish. 

• Many of his paintings are attributed to better-known contemporary Dutch artists.
