Hendrik van Minderhout (1632 – 1696)
• Minderhout was a Dutch painter.
• He was mainly active in the cities Bruges and Antwerp.
• He worked in Bruges from 1652 where he became a member of the Guild of Saint Luke.
• In 1664 married Margareta van den Broecke.
• He moved to Antwerp around 1672, married Anna Victoria Clays in 1673 and lived there until his death.
• He had five children from his two wifes.
• His work mainly consists of sea views, harbors, docks, flea scenes, river landscapes.
