Nicola di Maestro Antonio (c. 1440–1510),

• Was an Italian painter.
• Active in the Marche region, he was one of the main exponents of the Adriatic Renaissance.
• He was also an expert engraver and has recently been identified as the 'Master of the Tarot Sola Busca ' of the Pinacoteca di Brera.
• Nicola di Maestro Antonio d'Ancona, son of the Florentine painter Antonio di Domenico.
• He was perhaps trained in Padua, then returned to his native Ancona.
• It was inspired by the style of Piero della Francesca and Carlo Crivelli.
• His art has elements in common with that of Bartolomeo di Tommaso da Foligno.
