artist is a group of six portrait drawings of men, in the print room of the Runsthalle, Hamburg.
• One of the drawings bears the artist's name, and others are inscribed with the monogram NK, in ligature, and a date.

Jost Krieg is listed as a pupil in Kremer's workshop.
• In 1531/1532 the artist was paid by the city for two sundials.
• He was active at Strasbourg, city of BadenBaden and town of Ottersweier.
