Tomasso Nasini (1663 - 5 October 1746)
• Was 21 April 1663 – 5 October 1746) was an Italian painter.
• The eldest son of Antonio Annibale and Eufrasia Bassi, brother of Giacomo Francesco.
• He was born in Castel del Piano in 1663 into a family of illustrious painters.
• He began as an apprentice in his uncle Francesco's workshop and then settled in Rome, together with his cousin Giuseppe Nicola, to study in the workshop of Ciro Ferri.
• Awarded at the Accademia di San Luca in 1679 and 1680, he was admitted in 1681 to the Medici Academy directed by Ferri.
• From 1686 to 1689 he perfected his studies in Venice, together with his cousins Antonio and Giuseppe Nicola.
• In the last decade of the seventeenth century he worked alongside Giuseppe Nicola in various interventions in Tuscany.
• Between the end of the century and the beginning of the next he moved to Foligno, where he created numerous works.
