Pieter van de Venne (c. 1615 – 1657)
• Was a Dutch painter.
• Son of Adriaen van de Venne and brother of Huijbregt.
• He learned the art of painting from his father or from Evert van der Maes.
• He was active in The Hague from 1640 to 1657.
• In 1640 he became a member of the local Corporation of St. Luke.
• In 1656 he was among the founders of the Confrerie Pictura.
• He painted mostly still lifes, especially floral, and vanitas.
