Charles Wautier (1609-c.1703),

• Was a Flemish painter.
• Wautier was born in Mons (Belgium).
• According RKD he was working in Brussels without registrating himself in the Guild.
• After several admonitions it still took him till 14 March 1651 to officially register himself.
• Charles and his sister Michaelina Wautier shared a house and studio throughout their lives. 

• He was teacher of Michaelina Wautier, Tomas Monnorino (1653), Pier Vivier (1657) and Gillis Wauters (1686).

• He died in Brussels.
